Carolina Petrini
Carolina Petrini is a dynamic senior life sciences executive, board member, and commercialization strategist with more than 26 years of experience helping emerging biotechnology and healthcare companies translate scientific innovation into enterprise value. Her career has focused on guiding organizations through critical inflection points—from early clinical development to commercial-stage growth—while translating scientific innovation into sustainable market leadership.
Ms. Petrini brings particular expertise in commercialization of first-in-class and breakthrough therapies, including multiple successful product launches across oncology, rare disease, CNS, and cardiovascular medicine. She has built and led commercial organizations for emerging biotech companies and has advised boards and executive teams on corporate strategy, lifecycle management, pricing and market access, portfolio prioritization, and launch readiness.
Ms. Petrini has played key leadership roles in venture-backed, private, and public organizations. She has achieved two successful IPOs and multiple capital expansion events, working closely with investors and boards on governance, capital allocation, and long-term strategic positioning.
In addition to her executive leadership roles—including Chief Commercial Officer positions at late-stage clinical and emerging biotechnology companies—Ms. Petrini serves on the boards of life sciences organizations and frequently advises venture-backed companies and investors as a board nominee and strategic advisor.
Her board contributions focus on commercialization strategy, corporate growth planning, governance and executive accountability, and helping companies navigate the transition from scientific innovation to durable commercial success.
Carolina holds an MBA from The George Washington University.
